This is a standout opportunity to work on complex high-stakes patent trade secrets and commercial disputes for cutting-edge clients in the high technology software digital media and semiconductor industries.Candidate ProfileJDfrom atop-tier law schoolwith astrong academic record.Active Bar Admission in New Yorkin good standing.34 years of substantive experience in intellectual property litigation with a focus on patent and trade secrets disputes.Technical Background: A degree in Engineering Physics or Computer Science is strongly preferred.PTAB Experience: Experience with inter partes review (IPR) petitions is highly desirable.USPTO: Admission to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office is preferred but not required.Prior experience at an AmLaw 100 or similarly sophisticated firm preferred.Soft Skills: Exceptional legal writing analytical and oral advocacy skills with the ability to manage complex matters effectively and work both independently and as part of a team.Key ResponsibilitiesRepresent technology software and digital media clients in sophisticated patent and trade secrets litigation in federal courts and before the ITC.Draft pleadings motions and briefs in complex IP matters and assist in all phases of litigation from discovery through trial and appeal.Prepare and prosecute inter partes review petitions and other proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.Provide strategic counseling to clients on intellectual property enforcement and defense strategies.Collaborate across practice groups to deliver integrated and innovative legal solutions.Why Join UsThis is an extraordinary opportunity to join one of the nations most active and respected IP litigation practicesconsistently ranked for its impact and innovation.
