We are seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist who brings strong IR skills outstanding patient care and the ability to perform in a fast-paced high-acuity environment. Candidates with Interventional Radiology experience are strongly preferred. Key ResponsibilitiesProduce high-quality diagnostic images by selecting proper exposure factors and positioningAssist Radiologists during neuro/interventional proceduresAdminister oral contrast as required per examPrepare and instruct patients for radiographic and fluoroscopic proceduresOperate all X-ray CR and DR systems efficiently and safelyReport equipment issues promptly to leadershipSupport daily operations by assisting teammates stocking transporting and clerical dutiesMaintain medication security and ensure patient rights and confidentialityUse HIS RIS and PACS accurately and responsiblyProvide excellent communication with physicians staff and patientsParticipate in performance-improvement initiatives as needed RequirementsValid NY State Radiologic Technologist LicenseARRT Certification2 years of experienceBLS (AHA only)Neurosurgery/Neuroscience experience required Preferred QualificationsInterventional Radiology (VIR) experiencePrevious Neuro IR experience (unit typically trains RTs from other modalities over 6 months) Soft SkillsStrong interpersonal communicationFlexibility teamwork and professionalismCompassionate patient-centered mindsetAbility to maintain confidentiality and excellent phone etiquette Employment Type : Contract Experience: years Vacancy: 1
