Were seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist who provides exceptional patient care operates imaging equipment with accuracy and thrives in a collaborative environment. Key ResponsibilitiesSelect proper exposure factors and positioning to consistently produce high-quality radiologic imagesPrepare and instruct patients for examinationsAssist Radiologists during IR proceduresOperate all IR and imaging equipment efficiently and report malfunctions promptlyComplete procedures in a timely manner and assist with room turnover or team support between casesMaintain medication security and uphold patient rightsCommunicate effectively with patients physicians and staffUtilize HIS RIS and PACS accuratelyMaintain confidentiality and demonstrate strong phone etiquetteParticipate in performance-improvement initiatives as needed RequirementsNYS Radiologic Technologist License (or ability to obtain before start)2 years of experienceBLS (AHA only)Interventional Radiology experience Preferred QualificationsVIR Certification (strongly preferred) Soft SkillsProfessional communicationCompassionate and patient-focused approachStrong teamwork and flexibilityAbility to perform effectively across all age groups Employment Type : Contract Experience: years Vacancy: 1
