Apply today and make a lasting impact.What Youll Do:Group LeadershipManage diverse fast-paced and complex projects involving multidisciplinary teams utilizing professional staff in multiple office locationsDevelop and maintain client relationships as primary or secondary client contact for projectsParticipate in selling and cross-selling efforts; (Civil Survey Geotech Natural Resources and Environmental)Lead in the development of strategy the scope of work and the budget for projects and lead presentations as part of client interviews/selectionPlanning design and permitting civil engineering land development and infrastructure projectsRepresent the client and project team at public meetings and hearings as required to support project permits and approvalsLead this team with an entrepreneurial spirit by presenting at industry conferences and building professional relationships with permitting authoritiesLead safety culture within the project team including following safety protocols for all projectsTrack progress against project schedules and budgets. Prepare necessary contract adjustments for changes in scope schedule or feeActively manage project metrics WIP AR and riskSupervise and provide work assignments to the project teamPrepare provide technical input and/or review technical plans and reportsPlan and execute work tasks as well as oversee tasks of team members to meet project deadlinesMaintain overall project quality consistent with company and professional standardsMentor staff in required technical skillsMotivate and encourage others and help the team achieve successInteract with regulatory agencies knowing what information to provide when and with appropriate internal or client reviewPossess detailed knowledge of regulations in the area of practiceSolve problems creatively and effectively and make informed decisionsCollaborate across multiple disciplines and with clients to articulate and achieve project goalsCommunicate effectively and proactively with management peers and clientsMaintain the integrity and growth of the opportunity pipeline for the areaManage and develop meaningful dialogue with clients in the area and expand those relationships to the rest of VerdantasTechnical WorkDevelop comprehensive irrigation plans and specifications including layout hydraulic calculations equipment selection and construction details based on project requirements and site conditionsCollaborate closely with other design professionals to ensure irrigation designs are aesthetically integrated and functionally optimized within the overall landscape planConduct site analysis to assess existing conditions soil types plant water requirements and microclimates to inform irrigation design decisionsUtilize industry-standard software (e.g. AutoCAD) to create accurate and detailed irrigation drawings and construction documentsPerform hydraulic calculations to ensure proper system performance and water distribution efficiencySelect appropriate irrigation equipment and technologies considering factors such as water conservation system longevity and budget constraintsPrepare and review proposals and provide technical expertisePrepare reports presentations and other project-related documentationProvide on-site support during irrigation system installation to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standardsConduct system audits and evaluations to assess performance identify areas for improvement and recommend adjustments for optimal water useCommunicate effectively with clients contractors and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.What Youll Bring:Bachelors degree inLandscape Architecture Civil Engineering Agricultural Engineering or other related fieldCertification as an Irrigation Designer (CID) or Irrigation Auditor (CLIA) is preferredMinimum 10 years of experience with irrigation design and water management in a consulting environmentMinimum of 5 years of experience managing a diverse set of projectsStrong understanding of landscape design principles plant material and construction practicesProficiency in AutoCADFamiliarity with irrigation equipment hydraulics and water conservation techniquesExcellent problem-solving analytical and organizational skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsValid drivers license and ability to travel to project sites as neededSalary Range:At Verdantas we offer comprehensive benefits packages for our employees. Actual salary is based on the circumstances of each position and candidate such as geographic location skills and certifications.We recognize and reward exceptional performance and strive to ensure fair compensation across all roles and departments within the company.
