Address and resolve a wide variety of user issues including software problems hardware failures and network issues. Active involvement in providing technology solutions to support business needs.IS SupportEffectively and efficiently resolve end-user help desk calls received via phone or help desk ticket systemProvide excellent customer service through effective communication understanding and logical troubleshootingAccurately document the details of the user request or issue document the diagnostic steps performed when troubleshooting Troubleshoot and provide technical support for computers business software applications mobile devices peripherals and related technologyCoordinate preparation and installation of new computing equipment as well as upgrading and repairing existing computer equipmentInstall configure upgrade computer hardware operating systems and applicationsRepair or replace defective equipmentCollect outdated equipment for recycling or disposal Assist with IS asset management including hardware software phones cell phones and printersTrain end users in access security use and customization of programs and softwareEngage with various business partners to request services procure hardware or software and to assist in troubleshooting issues Assist in driving operational efficiency by developing strategies and solutions using technology and software applications to improve workflow in order to fulfill business needsCustomer ServiceAcknowledge greet and assist internal/external customers in a timely and professional mannerHandle telephone and electronic inquiries efficiently and effectively Identify the needs and provide the appropriate level of assistance Effectively research and resolve complaints and conflictsPerformance ExpectationsDo It Right the First Time - Strive to eliminate errors prioritize work accuracy seek opportunities to improve efficienciesExcellent attitude and customer service skillsMust be able to interact and communicate with supervisors coworkers and customers in a positive and professional mannerSafety ExpectationsComply with all safety policies and proceduresComplete required monthly safety involvementUse proper PPE when requiredMaintain a safe work environmentBe aware of surroundings at all timesWork safely at all timesGeneral ExpectationsComply with all Company policies and proceduresDevelop new and existing skills through educational programs including seminars product knowledge training and clinicsWilling to become a member of a committee/team for current or new programs to ensure their successAttendance at Company/store meetings is mandatoryOther duties may be assignedAt Curtis Lumber we embrace a culture of accountability and safety.
