Wage/Salary Range: $75K - 110K Applicants will be notified via phone or email within ten (10) business days of submittal. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Manage and maintain a comprehensive IT asset inventory, including hardware, software licenses, and peripherals, using enterprise asset management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Lansweeper, or equivalent). Oversee the full IT asset lifecycle from procurement and deployment through maintenance, refresh, and secure disposal or decommissioning. Coordinate with procurement, finance, and IT teams to track purchase orders, warranties, and maintenance contracts for all IT assets. Conduct regular physical and virtual audits of IT assets to ensure accuracy of inventory records and compliance with organizational and government policies. Enforce software license compliance by monitoring license usage, identifying gaps or over-allocations, and supporting audit responses. Develop and maintain asset lifecycle reports and dashboards to provide visibility into refresh schedules, costs, and utilization trends. Support end-of-life planning by identifying aging assets and coordinating certified data destruction and ITAD (IT Asset Disposition) processes. Collaborate with security teams to ensure hardware and software assets meet configuration and compliance standards, including CMDB accuracy. Purchase IT hardware and software via Air Force authorized supply sources. Install IT software and keep installed software up to date. Track and ensure completion of work orders in the IT ticket system. Review software agreements and software maintenance renewals; input license agreements into the asset management system. Maintain an inventory of assets and validate inventory quarterly. Inform Air Force IT Asset account manager of inventory validation results and issues. Assist in developing and implementing configuration management (CM) procedures. Review and recommend improvements to existing CM procedures. Oversee configuration and baselining activities of project items. Work with configuration team in development, upgrades, and maintenance of CM database. Ensure data quality, integrity, and security in CM database. Schedule regular audits on CM database and assist in implementing audit recommendations. Provide support to management in conducting configuration meetings and maintaining project schedules. Analyze configuration issues and develop appropriate resolutions and action items. Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related experience. Must be a U.S. citizen. Hold or have the ability to acquire a government security clearance. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics Experience with IT asset management platforms and CMDB tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Lansweeper, or similar). Strong understanding of IT hardware and software lifecycle management practices. Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams including IT, finance, procurement, and security. Able to work with minimal supervision and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to maintain accurate records and produce meaningful reporting. Preferred Experience supporting government or DoD IT environments. Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies. Supervisory Responsibilities This position will not have supervisory responsibilities.
