We believe that together we can create a brighter more sustainable future while tackling the most pressing challenges of the 21st century.Department OverviewThe IT Helpdesk team provides hands-on experience in providing technical assistance troubleshooting hardware and software issues and supporting end-users across the organization.Position ResponsibilitiesProvide first-level technical support to employees via phone email or in-person.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware software printers and network connectivity.Assist with setting up and configuring laptops desktops mobile devices and peripherals.Support onboarding and offboarding processes including account setup and equipment provisioning.Document support requests resolutions and procedures in the helpdesk ticketing system.Collaborate with IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues.Help maintain inventory of IT equipment and supplies.Contribute to process improvement and knowledge base documentation.Minimum QualificationsCurrently a student earning a Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field.Software Engineering Information Technology or a related field .Must be graduating between May 2026 and August 2027Basic understanding of computer hardware operating systems (Windows macOS) and common software applications.Familiarity with troubleshooting techniques and customer service principles.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.Desired QualificationsExperience with helpdesk or ticketing systems (e.g. ServiceNow Jira Zendesk).Familiarity with Active Directory Office 365 and remote support tools.Visa Sponsorship Bloom Energy is unable to provide VISA sponsorship to interns or new grad hires on an F-1 J-1 or other visa for this position regardless of CPT or OPT status.EOE StatementBloom Energy is an equal opportunity employer and makes employment decisions on the basis of merit.
