Summer internships are typically 11 weeks in length but can vary.ResponsibilitiesJob SummaryInformation Technology (IT) intern with a passion for technology collaboration and creative problem-solving. The IT Intern will provide technical assistance and support to MTIs network hardware and software issues. The intern will actively contribute to meaningful projects and work closely with a mentor.Primary Duties & ResponsibilitiesComputer and Network hardware management. This includes installation of equipment diagnosing problems with hardware components.Computer and Network operating systems management. This includes installation and configuration of computer and network operating on the hardware.Develop and provide user training for basic hardware and software use.Maintains open communication and positive working relationship with staff.Perform other duties/projects as assigned.OE/LeanUnderstands and/or actively participates in the implementation of sustainable improvement processes such as 5S Kaizen Daily Management Control Standard Work and Problem Solving.QualificationsQualifications/RequirementsThe requirements listed in the sections that follow are representative of the knowledge skills and/or abilities required to perform the duties of this job.
