Negotiate contracts pricing and terms with suppliers to optimize cost and quality. Manage and evaluate supplier performance fostering strong vendor relationships. Oversee procurement processes ensuring timely delivery of materials and components. Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with production to prevent shortages or overstock. Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives and supply chain efficiencies. Ensure compliance with company standards industry regulations and ethical purchasing practices. Recommended Qualifications 5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement with significant experience in a manufacturing environment Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Engineering or a related field Proven negotiation and vendor management skills including contract development Strong understanding of manufacturing processes materials and MRO procurement Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) and procurement software Bonus Qualifications Lean/Six Sigma certification or demonstrated experience in process improvement methodologies. Proven experience with international sourcing import/export regulations and global logistics. Advanced proficiency in major ERP/MRP systems for purchasing optimization (e.g. SAP Oracle Microsoft Dynamics). Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or significant experience leading cross-functional supply chain projects.
