Role Summary
Cheetah Clean Auto Wash is a high-growth, multi-site platform built on operational excellence, data, and technology leverage. The IT Manager will own and scale the company's technology and systems ecosystem, ensuring today's reliability while architecting for tomorrow's expansion.
This role is responsible for POS systems, AI camera systems, network infrastructure, RFID and LPR technologies, tunnel and backroom equipment integrations, HR and labor systems, data architecture, and vendor management. This is not a reactive IT role-this is a systems leadership role built for scale.
Core Responsibilities
Point of Sale (POS) & Wash Technology
- Own and manage all POS systems across locations
- Ensure uptime, performance, redundancy, and scalability
- Lead integrations between POS and:
- Membership platforms
- RFID tag systems
- License Plate Recognition (LPR) technology
- Payment gateways
- Partner with Operations to optimize lane flow, transaction speed, and customer experience
- Own AI camera systems used for:
- Incident review (Spot AI or similar)
- Operational visibility
- Risk management and training
- Design and manage network capacity to support high-bandwidth video systems
- Ensure reliable data retention, retrieval, and review workflows
- Integrate LPR systems with POS, memberships, and CX workflows
- Manage RFID infrastructure and readers across all sites
- Support tunnel controller systems and their integrations with:
- POS
- Wash packages
- Membership logic
- Ensure connectivity and reliability of backroom equipment including:
- Tunnel controllers
- Payment kiosks
- Entry gates
- Wash control systems
- Partner with equipment vendors to troubleshoot, upgrade, and standardize systems
- Design, deploy, and manage network architecture across all locations
- Ensure redundancy, uptime, and secure connectivity for:
- POS systems
- AI cameras
- RFID and LPR systems
- Tunnel and backroom equipment
- Implement cybersecurity standards and access controls
- Establish monitoring, alerting, and disaster recovery protocols
- Own all IT-related vendor relationships
- Evaluate, select, negotiate, and manage vendor contracts and SLAs
- Reduce system sprawl through standardization and integration
- Act as the internal technical authority across vendors and platforms
- Own HR technology stack, including:
- HRIS
- Time and attendance
- Scheduling systems
- Payroll integrations
- Ensure accurate and reliable data flow between HR, payroll, finance, and operations
- Improve labor visibility and compliance through automation and reporting
- Design and maintain integrations between:
- POS
- AI camera platforms
- HRIS and labor systems
- Accounting and finance systems
- CRM and CX platforms
- Support light-to-moderate programming, scripting, or API work
- Lead build-vs-buy decisions with a long-term scalability mindset
- Ensure documentation, version control, and repeatability
- Build and maintain scalable data architecture
- Develop centralized data warehousing solutions
- Enable real-time and historical reporting across:
- Sales
- Labor
- Memberships
- Wash throughput
- Incident and CX data
- Partner with leadership to turn data into operational intelligence
- Establish IT SOPs, governance, and security standards
- Create standardized technology playbooks for new store openings
- Ensure technology readiness ahead of expansion timelines
- Act as a strategic partner in platform-level growth decisions
- POS, AI cameras, RFID, LPR, and tunnel systems run reliably with minimal downtime
- Clean, accurate data flowing across all platforms
- Faster, repeatable store openings with standardized tech stacks
- Reduced manual intervention and system friction
- Technology consistently ahead of growth, not behind it
- 5+ years in IT, systems, or technology leadership
- Experience managing POS systems in multi-location environments
- Strong networking and infrastructure experience
- Experience with AI camera systems, video networking, or LPR technology
- Familiarity with RFID systems and tunnel / industrial control environments
- Proven third-party vendor management experience
- Strong systems thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience in multi-unit retail, QSR, car wash, or industrial service environments
- Data warehousing or BI experience
- API integration and automation experience
- Cloud infrastructure experience
- Experience supporting high-growth or roll-up platforms
