Key Responsibilities Oversee the maintenance and reliability of IT and Operational Technology (OT) systems critical for manufacturing operations. Manage the implementation integration and optimization of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) ERP and other production-related software. Develop and enforce robust cybersecurity protocols to protect both corporate IT and factory floor OT environments. Ensure the continuous availability and performance of network infrastructure and data systems supporting production facilities. Lead the strategic planning and alignment of IT initiatives with manufacturing efficiency and business growth objectives. Drive data collection and analytics initiatives to support production optimization quality control and predictive maintenance. Manage vendor relationships and contracts for specialized industrial hardware software and IT services. Recommended Qualifications 5 years of IT management experience specifically within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Deep understanding and hands-on experience with manufacturing-specific IT systems (e.g. ERP MES SCADA PLM). Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure management network architecture and cybersecurity best practices for both IT and OT environments. Proven ability to lead IT projects implement new technologies and manage vendor relationships effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on minimizing operational downtime and ensuring system reliability. Bonus Qualifications Experience with Operational Technology (OT) environments (e.g. SCADA MES PLCs) and IT/OT integration. Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts and technologies (e.g. Industrial IoT predictive maintenance). Proven ability to leverage IT to support Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma initiatives. Deep understanding of major manufacturing ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle EBS). Experience with IT solutions for supply chain management and logistics in a production setting.
