IT Procurement Specialist at Cleveland-Cliffs Steel

Cleveland-Cliffs Steel is seeking an IT Procurement Specialist focusing on IT Service and Software Procurement. The ideal candidate will be a motivated procurement professional with experience buying negotiating and have an understanding of a large variety of business and manufacturing applications software and IT services or an experienced information technology (IT) professional looking to build off their past experience. This individual will partner with Cliffs internal IT users information security legal and external channel partners and service providers. The role will be on-site at our corporate headquarters in Cleveland Ohio.Summary of Responsibilities:Negotiate commercial aspects of software licenses order forms and service agreementsIdentify cost opportunities and facilitate biddingIdentify risk with software and coordinate internal review when appropriateAssist with tracking and elimination of duplicate licensingReview specifications and issue purchase orders for software licenses support and IT servicesAssist with resolving billing issuesOther duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Management or related fieldFive years of experience in the information technology field or five years of procurement experience buying business and manufacturing application software and servicesStrong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook Word Excel and Adobe AcrobatPreferred Qualifications:Strong analytical and negotiation skillsAbility to understand technical specificationsFundamental understanding of the legal aspects associated with software licenses and service agreementsApplicants for this position must be currently legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.The salary range for this role is $65000 to $85000.
