No relocation allowed.SummaryThe project involves migrating an Oracle Spatial database (Geomedia) to a SQL database maintained through ESRI Roads and Highways (on-premise). The scope includes:Database conversionSoftware upgradeEnsuring spatial accuracy and system reliability Daily ResponsibilitiesProduce digital and hard-copy maps using advanced GIS and mapping tools.Perform GIS data collection, maintenance, and spatial analysis.Update and maintain database tables to reflect changes to GIS features.Perform quality control on new and existing data to ensure accuracy.Assist in development and maintenance of GIS procedure manuals.Conduct software/procedure research and testing as assigned.Perform other related GIS tasks as directed by the manager.Required SkillsKnowledge and hands-on experience with GIS/Mapping software & applicationsExperience working with spatial databasesProficiency in Microsoft OfficeExperience in cartographyExperience with database design Preferred Skills· ArcGIS Pro· SQL database experience· Experience with ArcGIS Roads and Highways extensionEducationBachelor’s Degree Preferred Fields: Geography, Computer Science, GIS, or Physical Science
