DescriptionPosition at JBS USAIT Security Career Development ProgramPurpose and Scope/General Summary: JBS is seeking candidates for a part-time IT Career Development role at our Corporate Office in Greeley intent of this position is to provide a year-round entry-level position to currently enrolled college students on our IT team. This is an exciting year-round opportunity for candidates who excel in a busy achievement-oriented environment and obtain relevant work experience that can lead to long-term placement with JBS. School credit may be available.Responsibilities:Troubleshoot & resolve technical issues.Maintain documentation and training material for supported services.Communicate highly technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel. Provide hands-on help to other IT groups.Provide excellent customer service to the end users.Perform user access provisioning and identity management.Work with the team to analyze establish and implement security requirements.Participle in installing administering and troubleshooting security solutions.Investigate and report on security statuses and incidents.Other duties as assigned Qualifications:Associate Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Computer Information Systems or an IT-related field of study.Preferred availability is 20 hours per week (must be within the hours of Monday-Friday 7 am-5 pm) year-round 1-2 years of IT classwork or work experience is preferredAbility to communicate clearly and concisely with internal and external customers bilingual highly preferred.Ability to multi-task and must possess strong work ethic Ability to successfully work under strict deadlines Excellent written and oral communication skillsBasic knowledge of Active DirectoryBasic knowledge of computer networking and systems securityProblem-solving and analytical mindsetCan perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodationThe applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:Paid Time Off: sick leave vacation and 6 company observed holidays;401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule; Base salary range of $20.00 - 24.00/hr.; andCareer Development: Our company is dedicated to supporting professional growth by offering continuous learning opportunities and a focus on career growth through various learning and development programs.For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in states where it is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation for any given position compensation ranges are specific to those states and takes into account various factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to a candidates relevant experience qualifications skills competencies and proficiencies for the role.This position does not have an application deadline.
