Like a restaurant kitchen during dinner service, things move fast around here – and we like it that way.We are looking for a POS IT Solutions Analyst based in the Philadelphia or New York market to join our growing restaurant technology team. This is an ideal role for a motivated IT professional with 2-4 years of experience who's ready to take ownership of critical restaurant technology infrastructure across our multi-location portfolio. You'll be the go-to expert for our Toast POS ecosystem, ensuring seamless operations across all properties while supporting our continued expansion. What You'll DoPOS System ExcellenceServe as an administrator for Toast POS systems across multiple restaurant locations, with a focus on Multi-Location Management (MLM) configurationsTroubleshoot and resolve POS issues quickly to minimize operational disruptionConfigure and optimize Toast POS features, including menu management, payment processing, reporting, and third-party integrationsMaintain system documentation and create user guides for restaurant teamsNew Restaurant & Conversion SupportLead POS installations for new restaurant openings, ensuring smooth launchesManage system conversions and upgrades with minimal downtimeTravel to various locations for hands-on support during critical implementationsCoordinate with vendors and internal teams to meet project timelinesTraining & PartnershipConduct engaging training sessions for restaurant staff at all levelsBuild strong relationships with restaurant managers to understand their technology needsProvide responsive support that matches the pace of restaurant operationsCreate and maintain training materials tailored to different user groupsWhat We're Looking ForRequired Experience2-4 years of hands-on experience with POS systems, ideally in a restaurant or hospitality environmentStrong working knowledge of Toast POS platform, particularly in multi-location environmentsProven ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues independentlyExperience training non-technical users on technology systemsBachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experienceEssential QualitiesProfessional Polish: You present yourself well and can interface confidently with everyone from line cooks to executive leadershipRestaurant-Ready Flexibility: You understand that restaurants operate beyond standard business hours – you're available for evening, weekend, and holiday support when neededProblem-Solver Mindset: You thrive on finding solutions quickly and can think on your feetGrowth-Oriented: You're eager to expand your skills and grow with our companyTravel-Ready: Willing and able to travel regionally (approximately 25-30%)Preferred QualificationsToast POS certification or advanced trainingExperience with restaurant management systems and integrations (labor management, inventory, online ordering)Familiarity with network administration and basic infrastructureUnderstanding of PCI compliance and payment processingThis is more than a typical IT role – it's an opportunity to directly impact the success of our restaurants.
