This role goes beyond the desk youll be getting out to our site locations troubleshooting in real-time and working directly with users in the field. Mobility self-direction and real-world IT experience are essential. As the regions IT Service Desk Specialist you will also be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the organization. As a strong problem-solver with proven experience working independently you will thrive within this team environment.What you will be doingServe as the onsite liaison for IT teams including Networking Infrastructure Security and corporate usersCollaborate with stakeholders to support IT business initiatives drive best practices and ensure standards and complianceManage vendor relationships and coordinate onsite services as neededProvide timely professional IT support via calls emails tickets both onsite and remotelyInstall configure and troubleshoot hardware software peripherals networking equipment VOIP and mobile devicesPerform routine maintenance across multiple sites and maintain an accurate IT asset inventoryTrain users on desktop and business applications and develop IT knowledge base documentationManage user accounts within Active Directory and Office 365 hybrid environmentsTrack escalate and resolve incidents and service requests using ServiceNowCollaborate with second- and third-tier support teams on complex technical issuesProvide onsite support for IT changes maintenance and configuration tasksMaintain organization and standards within equipment and server roomsParticipate in emergency response and after-hours support as requiredProactively maintain and procure IT equipment to prevent service disruptionsSupport onboarding and offboarding processes for usersWhat we would like from you 2 years experience in a similar IT support roleProactive detail-oriented and self-motivated with strong problem-solving and organizational skillsExcellent interpersonal skills with strong customer service orientationExtensive hands-on experience with Active Directory and proficiency with Microsoft Office 365Demonstrated experience with end-to-end ownership of service requests and incidentsAbility to terminate and test copper cablesFamiliarity with Windows desktop support mobile devices (Android/iOS) and networking conceptsExperience with ServiceNow is considered an assetRelevant certifications (ITIL A MCSA) is considered an assetLocation and other key details: This is a full-time permanent position based out of our Irving Texas head office: 8505 Freeport Parkway.Standard hours are Monday to Friday 40 hours per week with some on-call availability requiredOccasional travel to multiple BURNCO sites; must be comfortable working in an industrial setting with PPEDexterity to operate computers peripherals power tools and related equipmentAbility to lift and transport moderately heavy items such as desktop computers switches and UPS unitsWhy BURNCO Be part of a supportive high-performing team that values your growth and successEnjoy competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package paid time off and moreExperience our inclusive collaborative and safety-focused cultureTake part in team events professional development activities and community initiativesJoin us and be part of an organization that values safety above all.
