Its mission is to deliver fast reliable internet to customers and communities around the world and weve designed the system with the capacity flexibility and performance to serve a wide range of customers from individual households to schools hospitals businesses government agencies and other organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity.Leo IT Services is looking to hire a skilled IT Support Engineer to provide comprehensive technical support for our infrastructure warehousing operations production environments and laboratory facilities. This role is crucial in maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring reliable technology systems across our organization.Export Control : This position requires that the candidate selected be a U.S. Citizen in order to comply with U.S. government-imposed requirements related to the nature of the work and/or where it will be performed.Key job responsibilities* This shift is a Night-Shift position with a 6PM start time.* Process tickets via approved standard operating procedures (SOPs) to triage and resolve customer issues.* Provision Deploy and troubleshoot Windows Linux and maxOS workstations* Provision Deploy and troubleshoot bare-metal windows and Linux servers* Configure Deploy and Replace network infrastructure including switches routers and firewalls* Participate in hiring training and development of others* Provide technical support for Leo Production lab and launch Infrastructure components and associated software * Provide remote support for Leo employees and infrastructure worldwide* Perform scheduled maintenance and system upgrades* Assist with project implementations and technology deployments* Drives engineering best practices (e.g. Operational Excellence Security Quality etc.) and set standards.* Participate in on-call responsibilities.* up to 25% Travel Requirements10037A day in the lifeYou start the day by reviewing critical incidents that need to be prioritized. After addressing immediate concerns you will join the daily team stand up and work on projects and tickets critical to production and take part with a rotating this role you will build relationships with production teams mentor and ensure stability and standardization. The base pay for this position ranges from $47700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $103000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
