AVEVA is creating software trusted by over 90% of leading industrial companies.Salary Range:$69900.00 - $151400.00This pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation that the position offers and final compensation can vary within the range depending on work location job experience skills and relevant educational attainment and/or training.Job Title:Technical Support EngineerLocation: PhiladelphiaEmployment Type: full-time - HybridThe jobThis intermediate-level position is typically held by individuals with over three years of experience in triaging reproducing and resolving complex application issues related to the product its configurations and custom code developed and delivered to customersKey responsibilitiesServe as aTechnical Support Analyst providing expert-level support for complex issues.Performtriage technical troubleshooting testing analysis and diagnosisof product-related issues including custom applications and integrations.Document all activities and findingsthoroughly in the case tracking system.Provideeffort estimatesfor anticipated work and tasks.Deploy workarounds or hotfixesfor product-related issues.Implementfixes enhancements or workaroundsfor custom code issues.Document requirementsfor custom code changes and conduct feasibility studies.Maintaincustom code and related documentationunder version control as needed.Ensuresystem documentationis accurate and up to date.Collaborate proactively with theFrontline Support teamto promote best practices in solution maintenance.Occasionally participate indomestic travelfor training or on-site customer support.Essential requirements(technical skills)Proficiency in thesoftware development lifecycle including design documentation coding and testing.Strongtriage troubleshooting and issue replicationcapabilities.Solid understanding ofMicrosoft Windows and Server operating systems.Experience withMicrosoft Visual Studio including development in and/or C#.Familiarity withsource code version control systems such asMercurial (SCM).Proficient inMicrosoft SQL Serverdevelopment tools and languages includingSQL PL/SQL and T-SQL.Experience withSQL Server database administrationandreporting services.A sound understanding ofdistributed solution architectures.Desired skills(core competencies)Adaptability and flexibilityin dynamic environments.Customer-orientedmindset with a focus on delivering value.Strongwritten and verbal communication skills with fluency in English as a first or second language.Proven ability tomanage multiple prioritieseffectively.Self-motivatedwith a passion for continuous learning.Results-orientedapproach to problem-solving and task execution.Demonstratedindependence and sound decision-makingskills.Acollaborative mindsetand ability to work effectively within a team toward shared goals.If you are in ETAP or RIB please delete the below and this lineCommercial at AVEVAOur Commercial team comprised of over 2000 dedicated colleagues is the backbone of our customer relationships and business growth.
