Join the PANTHERx team, and define your own RxARE future in healthcare!Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Hybrid)Classification: ExemptStatus: Full-timeReports to: IT Infrastructure ManagerPurposeThe IT Systems Administrator provides technical expertise within the Information Technology department in support of daily departmental operations and projects. This position focuses on technical facets within our infrastructure environment. ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the maintenance, configuration and reliable operation of IT systems including virtualization, servers and storage. Installs and upgrades servers, storage systems, software packages and other components.Troubleshoots hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems and assessing the impact of issues.Provides documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure.Performs regular backup and disaster recovery operations and assist with implementation of appropriate process for protection.Supports Help Desk efforts by acting as escalation point and high-level troubleshooting with issue resolution.Performs departmental project work as needed to onboard new technologies and solutions.Works with IT infrastructure team in making suggestions to improve processes or procedures.Off-hours work may be required during maintenance/outage windows.Other duties as assigned.Required QualificationsAssociate or bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience required.At least 3-5 years of experience in an IT infrastructure role.Certifications such as Microsoft/Azure Role based.Required ExperienceStrong experience with Windows Server operating systems.Strong experience with Active Directory, Group Policy Management, DNS, DHCP, File/Print services.Strong experience with Microsoft desktop operating systems including Windows 7/8/10/11.Working knowledge of virtualization technologies including VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V.Experience with Microsoft Office 365 management and deployment.Exceptional troubleshooting skills.Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to exercise independent judgement.Work EnvironmentThis position operates in a home or professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to see, talk, or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit; stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
