This position works closely with management to determine resource requirements, forecasting needs, and cost-reduction initiatives. Responsibilities include maintaining comprehensive documentation, training and developing associates, analyzing system and application usage, and planning for increased server or desktop capacity.What’s a Typical Day Like?Works with management to determine resource requirements, forecast, and cost reduction initiatives.Responsible for maintaining comprehensive documentation and training and developing associates.Analyzes system or application usage and plans for growth or increases in server and Desktop capacity.Ensure quality and achieve excellence in customer support and services.Leads development projects for new major enhancements and performs functional design and unit testing as needed.Writes programming code using RPG 4, React and Python software tools on the IBM I-Series hardware.Mentor junior to mid-level associates with application, technology, business process and tools as neededProvide level 2 support for production issues as requested.Work different shifts and weekends as requiredPerform Managers role as required during sick, vacation or out of town business occasions.
