This is a hands-on independent position ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering excellent service and enjoys staying active on the job.Each evening will be differentthis role involves traveling to a variety of accounts in the Bloomington/Normal and surrounding areas to provide cleaning and floor care services based on business needs. ESS Clean provides a company vehicle for travel while on duty.What Youll Do:As a Floater/Floor Tech youll perform a variety of cleaning and floor care tasks including:Travel to different job sites each evening to cover open shifts and new accountsGeneral cleaning: dusting sweeping mopping vacuuming trash removal restroom cleaning etc.Floor maintenance: scrubbing stripping refinishing buffing and sealing hard floorsCarpet care: spot treatment hot-water extraction and general carpet cleaningSpecial services: window washing upholstery cleaning construction clean-upEquipment handling: safely transport and operate floor machines vacuums scrubbers and extractorsQualifications:Ability to work independently and follow instructionsMust be dependable and self-motivatedAbility to lift and carry up to 50 lbsPrior cleaning or floor care experience is a plus but not requiredwell train the right person!Physical Requirements:Frequent walking standing bending stooping pushing and pullingMust be able to wear and operate a backpack vacuumGood vision to detect dust dirt and debrisComfortable working both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditionsWork Environment:You may work in offices schools factories or medical clinicsExposure to cleaning chemicals and occasionally unsanitary conditionsEvening work requiredMust take trash to outdoor dumpsters regardless of weatherTools & Equipment Provided by ESS Clean:Backpack and upright vacuumsMop bucket and housekeeping cartFloor machines scrubbers and extractorsGloves and personal protective equipment (PPE)Ready to ApplyJoin a team that values integrity hard work and quality service.Apply today at Additional Information / BenefitsWhen you join ESS Clean you join a team dedicated to improving lives starting with our own people.
