The Janitorial Supervisor will direct and delegate the workload of janitorial staff and oversee quality of work performed. This role will liaise with customer representatives and ensure the highest level of service is provided to agreed specifications.Hiring Now!Weekly PayPaid on the job trainingLakeland Square is hiring for Janitorial SupervisorWage is $14.50 / hourRESPONSIBILITIES: Delegate workload of janitorial staff membersPerform quality assurance checks to ensure work is completed in accordance with our customer contractAnswer calls from security or mall management for emergency cleaningEnsure janitor closets are cleaned and stockedOversee table chair stage retail merchandising unit set-ups as requiredInform maintenance department and supervisor of any maintenance deficienciesConduct safety training; coach and mentor janitorial team membersPerform payroll duties as neededMake productivity recommendations to leadership staffParticipate in selection and placement of janitorial team membersProvide team feedback and provide guidance for improvementOn occasion may be required to perform janitorial duties to supplement staffQUALIFICATIONS: Must possess one or more of the following:Minimum of two (2) years of janitorial work experience preferably in a leadership roleMinimum of six (6) months of janitorial work experience employed by Allied Universal Janitorial Services Millard Group or other Allied Universal businessAbility to troubleshoot manage stressful situationsMediate conflict with tact diplomacy; coaching mentoringWrite informatively clearly and accuratelyAble to work a flexible scheduleExcellent oral and written communication skills Ability to self-initiate work; proactiveStrong organizational and decision-making skillsActive listeningAssess and evaluate situations effectivelyIdentify critical issues quickly and accuratelyPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Prior supervisory experience in the janitorial or housekeeping industryHigh school diploma or equivalentClosingAllied Universal is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
