Other duties may be Assigned:Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided ServiceMaster products tools and proceduresCleaning duties include sweeping mopping polishing trash removal restroom sanitizing vacuuming moving furniture and equipment and more.Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.Use of proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required.Open and lock facilities enable and disable security systems as required.Demonstrate a strong work ethic willingness to learn and positive demeanor.The ability to be flexible and work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail is a must.Contribute to a positive work climate and support the team by being in uniform reliable dependable and on time.Demonstrates respect and understanding for co-workers and customers.1-2 years experience as a custodian janitor or housekeeper is a plus but not required.Experience working for a professional janitorial company office complex hotel hospital or school is a plus.Physical Demands and Qualifications:Constant (up to 100%) standing walking pushing balancing stooping kneeling crouching twisting reaching overhead reaching forward.Must be able to lift and/or carry 25lbs.Ability to read cleaning instructionsAbility to differentiate between cleaning products and usesAbility to transition in and out of vehiclesAbility to navigate stairs Compensation: $16.50 per hour Established in 1953 ServiceMaster of Kalamazoo has been serving Kalamazoo and surrounding counties for nearly 70 years.
