Java Developer 96483-1 Location: Richmond VA/ McLean VA (Hybrid) Duration : Long Term Visa : OPT GC Citizen H4-EADs About the team: Building data pipelines to process Billions of customer data and assign unique customer keys to all CapitalOne customers and establish a customer record for them to get service developing microservices for real-time account booking and demographic updates and stream to all This position will be a typical Monday - Friday 9-5 role and the skills we are looking for are: Basic Qualifications: Bachelors Degree At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience in microservices development with Java and spring boot At least 2-year experience with cloud computing (AWS Microsoft Azure Google Cloud) Preferred Qualifications: Masters Degree 6 years of experience in Java and spring boot 2 years of experience with AWS GCP Azure or another cloud service 3 years of experience in open-source frameworks Training/Schedule Notes: Training will consist of two weeks working 8-5 M-F including shared classroom-type of instruction followed by several weeks of job-based shadowing. Once onboarded the available shift times are not set yet but will be morning start times afternoon start times and nights. Each shift is 9 hours long with 1-hour unpaid lunch. The days off are not set yet but there will be at least one working day during the weekend (Saturday or Sunday). Shift schedules will be set due to the call volume and needs of Capital One.
