Job Description
Reports To: Program Director / SupervisorSupervises: Job Coaches
Position Summary
The Job Coach Supervisor oversees consumer case management and supervises Job Coaches to ensure high-quality, community-based support for participants. This position requires professional competence, emotional resilience, and physical capability to manage staff, coordinate services, and support participants safely and effectively.
Candidates must understand that this role has inherent emotional and physical demands and requires full capability to perform essential job functions.
Primary Duties
Supervise, coordinate, review, and maintain consumer case management and record-keeping systems for assigned program and caseload.
Communicate regularly with employers to ensure participant employment stability and success.
Manage and supervise assigned Job Coaches, including interviewing, hiring, training, information sharing, counseling, disciplinary actions, and termination.
Ensure accurate delivery of consumer paychecks, if applicable.
Collaborate closely with Program Managers and Director.
Maintain cooperative relationships with representatives from regulatory agencies, funding sources, care providers, families, and other stakeholders.
Conduct staff meetings according to schedules agreed with.
Coordinate and schedule job coaching services in alignment with INDayPrograms' Vision, Mission, and Core Values.
Ensure compliance with program procedures, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Professional Conduct and Reporting Responsibilities
Employees must perform all duties with honesty, integrity, and professionalism.
Any work-related injury or illness must be reported promptly and truthfully to a supervisor.
INDayPrograms fully supports employees who report legitimate workplace injuries in good faith; retaliation against such employees is strictly prohibited.
Submitting knowingly false, fraudulent, or intentionally misleading reports-including fabricated or exaggerated workers' compensation claims-is strictly prohibited and may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination, and may be referred to the employer's insurer or law enforcement.
Employees are expected to cooperate fully with any investigation of reported incidents or claims.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate's degree in social science or equivalent experience.
At least three years of experience providing services to people with disabilities and one year of staff supervision/program coordination.
CPR/First Aid certification maintained throughout employment.
Valid California Driver's License with at least 24 months of driving experience.
Experience in consumer evaluation, record-keeping, or case management.
Demonstrated ability to work with individuals with developmental, physical, or mental health disabilities.
Knowledge of Rehabilitation and San Diego Regional Center (SDRC) referral and funding procedures.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to perform duties safely in community-based environments.
Schedule & Location
Work Location: Throughout San Diego

Job Type: Full-time (up to 37 hours per week)

Hourly Rate: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience.
