Job Description:The Certified Simulation Operations Specialist (CSOS) will support the growing use of simulation methodologies for education and professional practice. The CSOS provides consultative and supportive services for curriculum development, innovative instructional strategies, assessment methods and physician and nursing training and development. With a focus on neonatal and pediatric resuscitation and crisis resource management, the CSOS will improve patient care and safety through simulation based research.Education:Bachelor’s Degree- RequiredMasters - preferredExperience:2 years of Healthcare- Progressive Simulation experience- RequiredCertifications/Licensures:CHSOS Certified Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist- SSH Society for Simulation in Healthcare- Required2 years of simulation experience could be considered in lieu of the certificationSkills:Strong interpersonal, leadership and organizational skills, ability to work independentlyExcellent verbal and written communicationStrong technical and computer skillsOperational knowledge of simulation technologies and applicationsPreferred candidates will have a background/experience in Maternal health.Work Shift:08.0 - 08:00 - 17:00 No Waive (United States of America)Pay Range:$36.57 - $49.37HourlyOffer amounts are based ondemonstrated/relevantexperience and/or licensure.Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area .Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting.
