St. Francis-Emory Healthcare is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our elite Cardiothoracic Surgery team in Columbus, GA. This is a full-time, on-site role offering the opportunity to work alongside two highly skilled surgeons and a collaborative multidisciplinary team.  Key Responsibilities:Perform patient assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans.Assist in surgical procedures, including endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH).Radial artery harvesting experience is a plus but not required.Prescribe medications and manage perioperative care.Educate patients and families on health maintenance and recovery.Participate in call rotation and provide high-quality, compassionate care. Qualifications:Active PA or APRN license and board certification.Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies or Nursing (APRN).Previous experience in Cardiothoracic Surgery preferred.Proficiency in endoscopic vein harvesting required.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Commitment to teamwork and patient-centered care.Candidates completing a Cardiothoracic Postgraduate Fellowship will be considered. Schedule:1:3 call rotation20 days PTO5 days CME Compensation & Benefits:Competitive base salary: $160,000–$200,000 (based on experience and skill set).Sign-on bonusRelocation assistanceEducational loan repayment assistanceCall pay after pre-set thresholdCME annual allowance Why Join Us?Be part of the region’s only open-heart surgery program.Work in a collaborative, high-acuity environment with growth opportunities.Enjoy a comprehensive benefits package and strong support for professional development. Company Description:St. Francis-Emory Healthcare, based in Columbus, GA, has been a cornerstone of the Chattahoochee Valley community since 1950, delivering high-quality, compassionate care across west Georgia and east Alabama.
