Description The City of West Allis is now hiring for an Electrical Worker to join our dedicated Public Works team!Are you an energetic, self-motivated, detail-oriented individual looking for a change? -The ideal candidates will have experience operating locating devices for directional drill machines, vacuum excavators, and other equipment.Key Responsibilities:Drilling and using a vacuum excavator in various conditions, assisting Electricians with installations and repairs of street lighting and traffic signals. Reading and interpreting plans, instructions, and specifications to determine work activities Monitoring electronic guidance and locating equipment during the drilling phases. Carrying out minor maintenance and repair, including lubrication and cleaning Operating equipment such as Directional Drill Operator, Backhoe, Vacuum Excavator, Derrick Digger, Front End Loader, and Dump truckAssist in snow removal and ice control operations.
