Job Family:SAAS/PAAS/Cloud ConsultingTravel Required:NoneClearance Required:Ability to Obtain Public TrustWhat You Will Do:The role as an Appian Journeyman Developer at Guidehouse is critical in designing, developing, and implementing Appian-based applications to meet business needs and drive success. Our journeyman have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, and strong communication and collaboration skills. Appian Journeyman Developers will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the success of our projects and the growth of our company.Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other developers to design and develop Appian-based applications.Develop custom plug-ins, interfaces, and services using Appian.Configure Appian environments, including user management, design, and integration with other systems.Design and develop Appian interfaces using Appian SAIL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Create and maintain technical documentation related to Appian development.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Appian applications.Collaborate on proof of concept and other activities as new Appian product and technical capabilities are released.What You Will Need:US Citizenship and must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD Public Trust security clearance; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with GuidehouseBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, etcA MINIMUM of THREE (3) years of professional experience including at least THREE (3) years of experience in Appian developmentActive Appian Associate Developer certifications and ability to achieve additional relevant certifications upon hireExperience with Appian platform, including Appian SAIL, Process Modeler, Rules, etcExperience with Java, SQL, and web servicesUnderstanding of Appian development best practicesAbility to design and optimize business processes and integrate processes across disparate systemsSelected candidate must be able to work Eastern Standard Hours.What Would Be Nice To Have:Interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiationProblem-solving skills, ability to multi-task, and a high degree of emotional intelligenceRecent work experience on a software development project in a federal government setting or with Federal Acquisition Management.Prior experience working as Customer Help Desk support and/or production application support.Familiarity and/or experience implementing with low-code platforms. Experience working in an agile development environment.Understanding of responsible AI principles and model interpretability.The annual salary range for this position is $113,000.00-$188,000.00.
