Overview Placement Type: Temporary Salary: $30-33 Hourly C$30 - C$33/hr Start Date: 01.01.2026 Our Canada based learning and development client is looking for a Jr E-Learning Developer to join a project starting in January:Job Role: E-Learning DeveloperThis e-learning developer will work primarily in Articulate RiseCandidates for this role must be Canada based.Fully remote, team works EST hoursEstimated start date: early January 2026Duration: approx 3 months with possible extensionThis role will start with part time hours but then ramp up to full time (37.5 hours per week) after the first month*Candidates for this role must provide their own laptop and Articulate 360 license.The ideal candidate will be responsible:For designing, developing, and maintaining e-learning courses that are SCORM/xAPIcompliant and meet the specific needs of our clients. They should be comfortableworking in a team environment and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Key Responsibilities: Work collaboratively with the instructional design team to Develop e-learning courses using Articulate RISE on a global project to be created in a total of 20 languages.Organizational skills are an absolute must following set naming conventions and folder structures. Working quickly and efficiently to meet expected deadlines without sacrificing quality and attention to detail.Create engaging and interactive course content that is SCORM/xAPI compliant and compatible with multiple learning management systemsHave a good eye for graphic design and the ability to follow brand guidelinesUnderstand how to set up courseware with meaningful reporting for multiple learning management systemsTroubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during course development or delivery.Conduct quality assurance testing to ensure courses are functioning properly and meeting client expectationsStay up-to-date with the latest e-learning trends, technologies, and techniquesAssist with project planning and timelines, ensuring that deadlines are metCommunicate regularly with project managers, clients, and stakeholders toProvide updates on project progress and address any concerns or issuesQualifications:Bachelor's degree in instructional design, computer science, or related field, at least1-2 years of experience developing e-learning courses using Articulate RISEStrong understanding of SCORM/xAPI and other e-learning standardsExperience with learning management systems (LMS) and learning contentmanagement systems (LCMS) is a plusExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a teamIt would be highly beneficial for candidates to have a link to an eLearningportfolio and provide course samples of their best work.
