Job Description

Key ResponsibilitiesInstruction & CurriculumTeach JROTC curriculum including leadership citizenship military history health/fitness and life skills.Develop engaging lesson plans that support the goals of the JROTC program.Provide classroom instruction hands-on activities and leadership laboratories.Maintain accurate records of cadet progress attendance and evaluations.Cadet Leadership & Program ManagementSupervise mentor and guide cadets in leadership roles within the battalion/unit.Coordinate and conduct drill ceremony physical training and uniform inspections.Organize extracurricular activities such as drill team color guard Raiders academic teams and community service events.Manage cadet promotions awards and recognition programs.Eligibility CriteriaNoncommissioned Officers (E-6 to E-9) Separated or retired within the past 5 years with at least 8 years of cumulative honorable service.Officers (W-1 to W-5 O-3 to O-6) Same requirement: 8 years of honorable service separated or retired within the past 5 years.ARNG/USAR (Actively Serving/TPU) Same eligibility plus Letter of Recommendation from current Commander and current DA Form 5016 or NGB 23A.
