Junior Account Development Manager helps run the ship for Verizon-guiding customers through Fios that actually works, 5G Home Internet, and bundles that save money (wild concept, we know). So you think you can manage? As a Junior Account Development Manager, we'll give you the training to find out. We'll train you in leadership, compliance, and consultative sales-because apparently, winging it isn't a corporate strategy. The Junior Account Development Manager learns to supervise a team, monitor their performance, and refine sales strategies for Verizon's products. Why the Junior Account Development Manager Role Matters Someone has to be the adult in the room who turns good intentions into good results. As the bridge, the Junior Account Development Manager ensures customer interactions are executed with precision and that coaching is targeted, not theoretical. It's a role of quiet, essential power. Key Responsibilities of the Junior Account Development Manager Supervise team operations to ensure customer interactions meet Verizon's compliance standards and reflect expertise across wireless, devices, internet, and bundled services. Follow up with customers to confirm activations, device performance, internet reliability, and satisfaction with bundled features. Monitor account health and team metrics to identify opportunities for retention, service improvements, and stronger customer outcomes. Resolve escalated billing or service inquiries, apply account adjustments, and ensure timely resolution aligned with Verizon protocols. Support onboarding and training of new associates by reinforcing compliance requirements, device policies, and data security practices. Collaborate with senior managers to refine outreach strategies, track productivity, and align execution with Verizon's latest product launches and promotions. What We're Looking For in a Junior Account Development Manager High school diploma or GED preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain Verizon's wireless plans, 5G devices, home internet, and bundled service options. Experience in customer support, retail, or sales is valued, particularly within telecom, internet services, or subscription based industries. Organized, proactive, and collaborative, with problem solving abilities and resilience to thrive in service environments focused on customer satisfaction and retention. Skilled in CRM platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital tools to manage accounts, track engagement, and streamline workflows in line with Verizon standards.
