Job Details Responsibilities: As a Junior Accountant, your primary responsibilities will include: 1. Assisting in the preparation of financial reports such as financial statements and budget performance. 2. Ensuring accuracy and effectiveness in all accounting tasks. 3. Reconciling the general ledger on a monthly basis. 4. Preparing monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports. 5. Assisting with Accounts Receivable (A/R) and other related duties. 6. Managing company ledgers and daily entries. 7. Assisting in the budgeting process and income statement preparation. 8. Collaborating with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations. 9. Documenting and updating accounting policies and procedures as needed. 10. Participating in the ongoing development and implementation of our financial systems and processes. Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need: 1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the construction industry. 2. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3. Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). 4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with exceptional skills in Excel and accounting software systems. 5. Experience in ledger operations, financial reporting, and construction accounting. 6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 7. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently. 8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 9.
