ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY – LITIGATION (JUNIOR-LEVEL)INSURANCE COVERAGE PRACTICE Location: Miami, FLHYBRID Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking a skilled Litigation Associate Attorney to join its dynamic Insurance Coverage Practice Group. This growing practice handles complex, high-value coverage litigation and market conduct matters on behalf of both domestic and international insurers. The work includes commercial general liability, commercial property (including business interruption and environmental matters), errors and omissions claims involving attorneys, agents, and accountants, as well as directors and officers coverage. Candidate ProfileJD from an ABA-accredited law school with an excellent academic recordLaw Review and/or Honors requiredActive Bar Admission in Florida, in good standing2 years of substantive litigation experience, with a focus on insurance coverage mattersExperience analyzing complex insurance policiesAbility to provide clear coverage recommendationsDemonstrated experience drafting litigation-related documentsExperience participating in litigation proceedings, including depositions and mediations, among othersFamiliarity with some or all of the following: bad faith insurance claims, commercial general liability, commercial property, errors & omissions, and directors & officersExceptional legal research and writing skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze insurance policies and draft detailed coverage opinionsProvide clear and actionable coverage recommendations for clientsConduct legal research using Westlaw, Lexis, and other research toolsParticipate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trialsDraft interrogatories, document requests, and responsesReview and analyze document collections in preparation for litigationEngage in direct communication with domestic and international insurersCollaborate with partners and team members to advance case objectives with efficiency and precision Why Join Us?This opportunity offers a strong platform to practice within a nationally-recognized insurance coverage practice known for handling high-exposure and complex litigation matters.
