Learn more at Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Project Manager to join our security business unit.Primary Responsibilities:Project Planning and InitiationDefine project scope objectives and deliverables in collaboration with clients and stakeholdersDevelop detailed project plans timelines and budgetsResource ManagementCoordinate internal resources and third-party contractors/vendorsAllocate and manage resources to ensure project milestones are metClient and Stakeholder CommunicationServe as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycleMaintain regular communication with stakeholders providing updates on progress risks and solutionsExecution and MonitoringOversee day-to-day operations of projects to ensure they remain on trackMonitor project performance using appropriate systems tools and techniquesRisk ManagementIdentify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategiesRespond promptly to issues ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and deliverablesCompliance and Quality AssuranceEnsure projects adhere to company policies industry standards and regulatory requirementsConduct quality checks to ensure project deliverables meet specifications and client expectationsDocumentation and ReportingMaintain accurate project documentation including contracts schedules and change ordersPrepare regular status reports for internal and external stakeholdersBudget and Cost ControlManage project budgets and track expenses to avoid overrunsIdentify opportunities for cost savings without compromising qualityTeam Leadership and CollaborationLead and motivate project teams to achieve project objectivesFacilitate collaboration between cross-functional teams to ensure alignmentCloseout and HandoverEnsure proper project closeout including client sign-offs and final documentationConduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvementBasic Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Business Project Management Engineering or a related field (or equivalent work experience)3 years of experience in project management preferably in security systems construction or technology integrationProven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with a track record of delivering on time and within budgetValid drivers license and acceptable driving recordStrong knowledge of project management principles methodologies and tools (e.g. MS Project Smartsheet)Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environmentEffective communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients vendors and team membersProblem-solving and decision-making abilities with a proactive approach to risk managementBudget management and cost control expertiseFamiliarity with industry standards regulations and compliance requirements (e.g. OSHA ADA)Preferred Qualifications:PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certificationRelevant technical certifications related to security systems or IT integration (e.g. CompTIA Axis Certified Professional)Familiarity with security systems access control CCTV or intercom systemsBasic understanding of data center operations or construction environmentsCompensation: starting at $70K commensurate with experienceDisclaimer:This job description should not be construed to imply that these requirements are the exclusive standards of the position.
