Junior Software Engineer at RightEye

As a Junior Software Engineer youll work alongside experienced engineers to build the systems powering our eye-tracking analytics platform. This is an ideal role for someone eager to grow their skills across the full stackfrom real-time data pipelines to ML infrastructure.What Youll DoLearn & Build: Develop features across our codebases with mentorship from senior engineers. Write clean tested code and participate in code reviews.Data Pipeline Development: Help build and maintain data ingestion workflows for processing eye-tracking signals from various hardware sources.SDK Development: Contribute to our Theia SDK working on various platforms and operating systems.Infrastructure Support: Assist with AWS infrastructure (EC2 S3 RDS) and help improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.Documentation: Write clear technical documentation and help maintain internal knowledge bases.Develop POCs: research new technologies and build out proof-of-concepts from the ground up then report findings to the VP of Engineering.Qualifications : Required1-3 years of professional software development experience (internships count)Strong foundation in Pythonfamiliarity with NumPy pandas or similar scientific librariesExperience with at least one other programming language (C# Java JavaScript or C preferred)Understanding of data structures algorithms and software engineering principlesEagerness to learn new technologies and tackle unfamiliar challengesStrong communication skills and comfort working in a collaborative team environmentNice to HaveExperience with Unity or game engine developmentFamiliarity with Docker containerization or cloud services (AWS)Exposure to time-series data sensor data or signal processingInterest in VR/AR eye-tracking or human-computer interactionExperience with machine learning concepts or toolsWhy Join UsMentorship from experienced engineers in a growing teamOpportunity to work with cutting-edge VR/AR and eye-tracking technologyDirect impact on products used for health performance and research applicationsExposure to the full technology stackfrom embedded systems to cloud infrastructureAdditional Information : How to ApplyThis position reports to the VP of Engineering.
