KC-46 First Line Manufacturing Support Manger (K Level)Company:The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense Space & Security (BDS)has an exciting opportunity for a KC-46 First Line Manufacturing Support Manger (K Level) to support the KC-46A Program within the Line Side Control Center (LSCC) in Everett WA.Position Responsibilities:Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines.Develops and executes business plans policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.Acquires resources provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports.Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes.Manages develops and motivates employees.Provides oversight over the 5S Program and BDS CoordinatorsBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):5 years of experience working in an aerospace fabrication or manufacturing environment1 years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership roleStrong communication collaboration and negotiation skills are required to succeed in this position as well as presentation and facilitation skills to work with cross-functional groups in establishing and achieving common goalsProficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook)Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelors degree or higher1 years of experience with Boeing systems such as SAT CMES & REDARS1 years of experience using lean manufacturing and/or continuous improvement practices and toolsPrior experience in a production or manufacturing environmentPrior LSCC experienceUnderstanding of One BPS process and principlesShift:This role will be on 1st shiftAdditional Information:Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.Drug Free Workplace:Boeingis a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana cocaine opioids amphetamines PCP and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Total Rewards:At Boeing we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract engage and retain the top talent.
