Job DescriptionJob DescriptionFamily Pet Hospital is seeking a dependable, animal-loving Kennel Technician to join our team! This role focuses on the care of boarding pets—ensuring their comfort, safety, and cleanliness during their stay. If you’re passionate about animals and looking for a part-time role, we’d love to hear from you!Schedule:Weekends: Saturday & Sunday, 6:30am-8:30am and 6pm-8pmWeekday Evenings: Some shifts from 6:00pm– 8:00pmOptional Weekday Mornings: Additional hours available if desiredHolidays: RequiredCompensation**$13.50-$14.50 per hour for each hour worked*Responsibilities:Provide attentive care to boarding dogs and catsFeed, walk, and monitor pets for health and behavior changesClean kennels and hospital areas as neededMaintain a safe and sanitary environmentWork independently and responsiblyRequirements:Comfortable and confident handling dogs and cats of all sizes and temperamentsTrustworthy and able to work unsupervisedReliable transportation is a mustPrior experience is a plus, but not requiredAt Family Pet Hospital in Topeka, Kansas, we pride ourselves on creating a warm, supportive environment where both pets and team members feel valued.
