Job Description
Basic RequirementsEducation: High school diploma or equivalent (GED).Experience: Prior experience working with animals (such as volunteering at a shelter or vet clinic) is preferred but not always required.Age: Must be at least 18 years old (depending on state laws or employer policy). Skills and CompetenciesAnimal handling: Ability to safely handle dogs and cats.Observation: Monitor animal behavior appetite and health for signs of illness or stress.Cleaning and sanitation: Maintain clean kennels cages and work areas using proper disinfecting procedures.Physical ability: Must be able to lift 4050 lbs stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.Communication: Work well with team members veterinarians and pet owners.Attention to detail: Follow feeding schedules medication instructions and care protocols accurately.
