Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMungerKids CoordinatorMunger Place Church | Part-Time PositionPosition OverviewThe MungerKids Coordinator collaborates with Munger staff, caregivers, and volunteers to ensure the success of our Nursery and Childrens Ministry programs.Reports To: MungerKids DirectorStatus: Part-Time (20 hours/week)Schedule: MondayThursday TBD; Sunday 8:00am12:30pmAdditional hours required for religious holidays (Christmas Eve, Easter) and special eventsEssential ResponsibilitiesMinistry Programming Write and prepare preschool Sunday School lessons and PreK VBS curriculum Support nursery teachers and MungerKids Director with lesson planning and classroom supplies Prepare Kids Worship activities and maintain busy carts Assist with seasonal and large events (MungerFest, VBS, etc.) Support age-appropriate fellowship events (Egg Hunts, Bible Explorers, etc.) Track and celebrate milestones (births, baptisms, transition from Pre-K to Elementary)Volunteer & Staff Management Create monthly schedules for volunteers and caregivers Welcome and assimilate first-time volunteers and families Assist MungerKids Director with caregiver hiring and approve caregiver hours Lead weekly Sunday morning caregiver meetings Train caregivers and volunteers in early childcare policies Implement caregiver appreciation programsOperations Maintain stocked and presentable Early Childhood classrooms and common areas Order nursery supplies and ensure adequate hospitality supportQualifications Team player who values the church's mission above self Outgoing, personable, and welcoming demeanor Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Experience leading volunteer teams Proactive communication with supervisor regarding ministry needs
