The right candidate will embrace change, celebrate innovation, and have an unwavering passion for providing extraordinary customer service to our valuable clients.Position Description: The Kitchen Staff serve a important and critical role by being able to directly serve the residents and community in the Community Center.Duties & Responsibilities:Deliver extraordinary customer service to residents in a courteous, professional manner.Support the food and beverage operation by taking orders, preparing food and assisting in additional duties assignedProcess and handle payments for orders.Serve as additional staff for events within the community including set up, executing, and take down which may include moving large objects (i.e, tables, chairs, etc.)Occasionally serve food at dinners/eventsProfessionally communicate with residents, team members and vendors in person, via e-mail or phoneProvide support to association’s clubs, events and groupsUtilize multiple software platforms to provide a variety of services and information to residentsEmbrace flexibility and change with additional duties that may be assigned in order to assist the communityQualifications:High School Diploma or GED requiredProfessional kitchen/cooking/restaurant experience preferredA drive and passion to assist othersAbility to perform under deadlines and pressure combined with strong problem-solving skillsAbility to build rapport with residents, team members and vendorsAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentMotivated and self-starterAbility to build rapport with residents, team members and vendorsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and WindowsMust be able to work a variety of shifts including but not limited to nights and/or weekendsAble to carry and move items up to 30 poundsRequirements:Department: Events
