Community Kitchen - Kitchen Lead: Part-time position available with the Community Kitchen a non-profit entity in Mason City Iowa. Duties include coordinating activities related to the preparation serving and cleanup of a weekday evening meal Monday through Thursday and a Saturday lunch meal. Applicants must be 18 years of age. Demonstrates knowledge of food safety and sanitation by correctly answering questions completion of an approved food safety course and by actionsPrepares and serves the evening meal and Saturday lunch mealOversees volunteers which change for each meal serviceAdheres to all Community Kitchen Policy and Procedures including those related to:Food preparation and safetyCleanliness of facilitySetup of kitchen and dining areaGleaning (food donations)Recycling and wasteCleanup and end-of-shift dutiesSecurity of facilityPick up receive store and inventory perishable and nonperishable food items bought donated or gleaned for the KitchenAdheres to all Personnel Policies and ProceduresActs in a professional manner reflecting the mission of The Community KitchenMaintains a peaceful environment in the facilitySkills RequiredA.
