Kitchen Manager Sweet TomatoesAbout UsSweet Tomatoes is a Salad Soup Pasta and Bakery buffet concept focused on high-quality ingredients made-from-scratch recipes and a welcoming guest experience. Were looking for a hands-on Kitchen Manager who is passionate about fresh food team development and flawless execution.Position OverviewThe Kitchen Manager oversees all back-of-house operations ensuring our scratch-made soups salads bakery items and hot dishes are prepared to the highest standards. This leader maintains food quality safety consistency and efficiency in a fast-paced high-volume environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily kitchen operations including prep production cooking and buffet replenishmentEnsure all menu items are prepared from scratch following recipe standards and production guidesLead train schedule and develop team membersMonitor food safety sanitation and proper handling practices at all timesManage inventory ordering and waste reduction to maintain cost controlsDrive kitchen efficiency through strong organization and clear communicationMaintain equipment cleanliness and overall BOH organizationSupport menu rollouts seasonal items and ongoing quality improvementsQualifications3 years of kitchen leadership experience; buffet or high-volume environment preferredStrong knowledge of scratch cooking batch production and food safety standardsAbility to lead a diverse team with professionalism and accountabilitySolid understanding of inventory management and food cost controlServSafe Manager certification (or willingness to obtain)Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a busy kitchen environmentWhat We OfferCompetitive salary performance-based bonusesHealth dental and vision insurancePaid time off Required Experience:Manager Key Skills Culinary Experience,Restaurant Experience,Kitchen Management Experience,Food Preparation Experience,Kitchen Experience,Hospitality Experience,Food Safety Experience,Management Experience,Conflict Management,Cooking,Sanitation,Restaurant Management Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
