You can find that at Taziki's.Experience is great, but not required - we can teach you everything you need!Your Role as Kitchen Prep/Line Cook:Positions can include these stations: Prep, Salad, Grill, Roll-Up, and Expo.Preparing fresh food items daily and accuratelySetting up and stocking stations with all necessary suppliesMenu and product knowledgeManaging orders efficientlyPreparing catering ordersProper food handling and storage of food productsMaintaining/exceeding proper hygiene, uniform, and appearanceMaintaining/exceeding health department standards throughout each shiftCleaning and maintaining kitchen, dish, and prep areasPerforming shift side work, including opening and closing dutiesCompleting all course certifications for kitchen team members in our training platformThe Ideal Team Kitchen Prep/Line Cook:Experience preferred but not required - we will train you!Proper knife skillsAbility to operate all necessary kitchen equipmentGood communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently and collaborate with the team as necessaryStrong work ethic with passion and urgencyDependable and reliableWork flexible scheduleProfessional, humble attitude with respect for coworkers, establishment, and the brandAll Employees Must:Understand and abide by all company standards and policies (provided in your employee handbook)Your Working Conditions / Hours:Hours will vary by store, but will be a combination of morning (8am-3pm), day (1pm-9pm), or evening shifts (3pm-9pm).You'll work in a typical restaurant kitchen environment, which includes but is not limited to using equipment such as a flattop and char grill, oven, slicer, mixer, and food processor.Your Physical Requirements:(With or without a reasonable accommodation) Prolonged standing Bending Stooping Twisting Lifting/carrying up to 30 pounds CookingSe Habla Espaol!Taziki's is an equal opportunity employer.Pay range shown in job description is base pay before tips and based on experience and performance.
