DescriptionKQCA/My58-TV the CW affiliate in Sacramento CA. is looking for anAccount Executive. An Account Executive sells advertising to local businesses and negotiates impressions and rates with ad agencies. You will also solicit new businesses to advertise TV and web. We will provide the tools for powerful multi-platform marketing solutions to create partnerships to retain and grow our client base. You will report to the Local Sales Manager. If you want to work for the best we want to hear from you today!ResponsibilitiesProduce revenue across all available platformsProspect contact and present to new businessesDevelop new revenue through local business developmentForm strategic and market partnershipsManage an active account/client listConceptualize create and deliver sales proposals that are consistent with station strategiesAchieve individual sales goals while contributing to the My58 dynamic sales teamRequirements1 years in media or digital sales or similar sales fieldExperience with the development of new business/non-traditional businessHave strong negotiation skillsExperience in a consultative customer-focused business atmosphereAccountability within a goal-structured organizationMust be a team playerExperience selling to business ownersUnderstand and use qualitative research to further sales effortRelated military experience will be consideredWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; We will train on our proprietary softwareMust possess a drivers license with a good driving recordRelated military experience will be consideredIn-person attendance is requiredSalary RangeThis position is paid based on commissions which range from $70000 and $100000 depending on performance and other criteria set forth by management.Values in ActionAt Hearst Television we tell stories every day.
