Department:AA Centers for Simulation EducationDepartments Website:Summary of Job Duties:The Healthcare Simulation Educator (HSE) is a member of the UAMS Centers for Simulation Education (CSE) team and is a clinical simulation professional whose responsibility is to develop and implement clinical simulation-based education designed to enhance patient safety and quality during healthcare delivery. This position will require the planning transporting setup and operation of simulation equipment computers tablets and other associated technology. This position will require the demonstration programming and overseeing of simulations for faculty staff standardized patients (SPs) students and healthcare education participants that are delivered by either a healthcare simulation center of facility or institution. These components include educational curriculum administrative tasks clinical session preparations session breakdowns and performing quality assessments of the SPs. This position is tasked with working collaboratively with content experts course/program leaders and the CSE staff to ensure the principles of the healthcare simulation education experience are delivered accordingly.
