Lab Manager – Microsoft Garage Cambridge at DXC Technology

Job Description:The Lab Manager oversees all makerspace operations for the Microsoft Garage in Cambridge ensuring equipment readiness EHS compliance and an efficient safe innovation environment. Responsibilities include daily lab opening/closing preventive maintenance of fabrication and electronics tools training users on equipment maintaining inventory and procurement lists enforcing lab rules documenting safety and operational procedures and providing hands-on support during workshops demos and hackathons. The Lab Manager partners closely with Garage Program Managers and Microsoft stakeholders to enable prototyping events and hands-on learning experiences as outlined in the Garage Managed Services SOW.Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors including but not limited to the experience job-related knowledge skills competencies as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $55100 - $102300.Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
