Were seeking an organized individual to handle lab support operations including glass wash and package delivery. Youll be the primary point of contact for lab personnel ensuring compliance and efficiency in all support activities.What will you doPerform laboratory services such as order delivery glassware processing and biological waste processingPerform specific tasks associated with labware operations including precision cleaning and sterilization through autoclavingCollect used labware/materials from various labs and ensure dedicated points of use are fully restockedPartner with clients to understand their labware and material needs providing timely support and ensuring stock availabilityFollow well-defined procedures as outlined by Best Practices SOPs & Work InstructionsMaintain accurate records of inventory and support activities.May perform other duties as assigned by management.How will you get hereEducationHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Experience1 year experience with material handling requiredGood x Practice (GxP) environment or laboratory setting experience preferredKnowledge Skills AbilitiesProficiency with Microsoft 365 applications (Excel Outlook Teams).Strong attention to detail organizational skills and a safety-first approach.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.Physical Requirements / Work EnvironmentThe role primarily involves working independently at customer sites which may include areas with chemical-based allergens like penicillin and tetracycline. Personal protective equipment such as lab coats coveralls facemasks and steel-toe shoes is often required. The position requires regular lifting of 30-40 lbs (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and using equipment like pushcarts and forklifts to move up to 100 lbs. Standing walking reaching and bending are frequent activities sometimes in varied temperature environments.
