Salary: $125,000 - $150,000 per year A bit about us: We are seeking a talented, experienced, and highly motivated Labor & Employment Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work on complex and challenging labor and employment law matters. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our team, providing legal counsel and advice on a wide range of labor and employment issues, including wage and hour disputes, FLSA matters, class and collective actions, and more. Health Insurance Vision Insurance Dental Insurance 401K Job Details Responsibilities: The Labor & Employment Attorney will be responsible for: Providing advice and counsel to human resources and management on a wide range of labor and employment law matters, including but not limited to wage and hour issues, FLSA compliance, employee relations, and employment agreements. Drafting and revising employment policies, employee handbooks, and employment agreements to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Representing the company in labor and employment litigation matters before courts, arbitrators, and administrative agencies. Handling EEOC and agency charge responses, investigations, and mediations. Providing training to human resources and management on labor and employment law topics. Participating in the development and implementation of proactive strategies for managing labor and employment law risks. Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the Labor & Employment Attorney position will have: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. At least 5 years of experience in labor and employment law, with a focus on litigation, wage and hour disputes, FLSA matters, class and collective actions. Experience in providing HR advice and counseling on a wide range of employment law issues. Strong experience in drafting employment policies, employee handbooks, and employment agreements. Solid experience in handling EEOC and agency charge responses, investigations, and mediations. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels within the organization. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex legal issues. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and work under tight deadlines.
