LABOR & EMPLOYMENT ATTORNEY (PARTNER/OF COUNSEL) Location: Los Angeles, CAHYBRID Our client, a prestigious law firm recognized in the 2024 edition of Best Law Firms®, is seeking an Of Counsel/Partner Attorney to join their Labor & Employment (L&E) Litigation team. Attorneys in this role, based in Downtown Los Angeles, will primarily focus on single plaintiff and wage & hour class litigation. This is a unique opportunity to take on a significant role within a well-respected practice, with no portable book of business required. The ideal candidate will be highly ambitious and eager to contribute to the firm's long-term succession plan. Candidate ProfileJD from an ABA-accredited law school with an excellent academic recordActive Bar Admission in California, in good standing7+ years of substantive experience in labor & employment litigationExtensive experience with individual FEHA cases and counseling employers on compliance matters is requiredProven experience managing discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparationStrong written and oral advocacy skills, with the ability to manage complex cases independentlyCollaborative mindset with excellent interpersonal and client management skills Key ResponsibilitiesRepresent clients in complex L&E litigation matters, with a focus on individual FEHA casesManage cases from inception through resolution, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and preparing for trialProvide strategic counsel to clients on labor and employment compliance and risk mitigationWork closely with clients to develop innovative legal strategies and solutionsCollaborate with a team of experienced attorneys to deliver high-quality legal services Why Join Us?This role offers a unique opportunity to join a dynamic labor & employment team within a well-respected national law firm.
